LEGION ARCANA
Section 05

Ranks & Crates

Exactly what you get, rank by rank and crate by crate. Every perk is listed, and every crate shows its real drop chances — the same numbers the server rolls against.

Where to buy

Everything on this page that costs money is sold at one place: store.legionpvp.net. It is our own store, run by us.

You type your Minecraft name, the store checks it is a name that has actually joined the server, and payment goes through Stripe. Delivery is automatic — a rank is applied and keys are paid into /rewards, usually within seconds of paying. Bedrock names work: the leading dot is part of your name, so type it.

PackagePriceWhat happens
Novice$7.99The rank is applied to your account. Buying a higher rank later replaces the one you hold — you keep the best, you do not stack them.
Adept$15.99
Expert$29.99
Master$49.99
Legend$89.99
Relic Crate Key$4.99Keys are paid into /rewards, so you collect them when you are ready. You can buy more than one at a time.
Spawner Crate Key$4.99
Wand Crate Key$6.99
Warlord Crate Key$6.99
Arcane Crate Key$9.99

Vote, Boss and Seasonal keys are not sold. Those are earned — by voting, by placing in a boss fight, and by seasonal events. Buying your way into them would take the point out of all three.

Nothing here is required, and nothing here wins a fight for you. Ranks are convenience and cosmetics; crates are loot you could also earn in game. Read the staff policy for where we draw that line.

Kits in detail

Open /kit to claim. Every kit is a complete loadout: a full set of robes (armour), tools, and a wand at a set Power level. A rank unlocks its own kit and keeps every kit below it. Every kit is on the same 24-hour cooldown, tracked separately per kit — so a Legend can claim Legend, Master, Expert, Adept, Novice and Starter each once a day.

Player vaults

Vaults are the only completely raid-proof storage on the server. Nothing takes them from you — not death, not a wither breaching your wall.

VaultSlotsUnlocked at
Vault 127Adept
Vault 236Expert
Vault 345Master
Vault 454Legend

Open one with /pv <1-4>. Novice Adept and Expert must visit the vault room at spawn — right-click the vault block there. Master and Legend can open theirs from anywhere in the world.

Use them. Whatever you'd be most upset to lose in a raid belongs in a vault, not a chest in your base.

Chat name colour

Expert and above can paint their name in chat. Open it from /rank, or go straight there with /namecolor. The menu asks which kind of colour you want first, then which colours.

Solid Expert

Pick one colour. Your whole name prints in it, every time you speak.

Gradient Legend

Pick two. Your name fades from the first colour to the second, letter by letter. The top rank only.

There are fourteen colours to choose from, all picked to stay readable against the chat background. The menu previews your own name in every colour before you commit to one, and you can change it as often as you like — there is no cooldown and nothing to spend.

ModeColours you pickLooks like
PlainThe default. White, like everyone else.
Solid Expert1One colour across the whole name.
Gradient Legend2A fade from the first to the second.

Your rank tag is separate. The coloured Legend tag in front of your name is still your rank's own colour — the name colour only changes the name itself, so people can always see what rank you are.

It follows your rank. If a rank ever lapses, your name quietly goes back to white and your colours are remembered for when you hold it again.

Scouting with /near

Another perk of the top three ranks. /near tells you who is within 75 blocks of you — how far away they are, and which way.

RankCooldown
Expert3 minutes
Master2 minutes
Legend1 minute

The list is sorted nearest first and each name is coloured by how close they are: red inside 25 blocks, gold out to 50, green beyond that. If nobody is in range it says so.

It is a snapshot, not a radar. The cooldown is the point — you check before you dig in, before you log out at your base, or when you think you are being followed. It will not track someone across the map for you.

Vanished staff never appear. A staff member who is vanished is invisible to /near exactly as they are to your eyes — the command cannot be used to detect them. Players in other worlds are not listed either.

Wand skins

Twenty-two different looks for your wand. They change nothing but the look — reach, cast rate and damage all come from your Power tier, and a skin cannot make a wand hit harder.

They come out of the Wand Crate, one skin per key, a flat 1-in-22 for each. What you win is a voucher shaped like the wand it unlocks — right-click it anywhere to redeem. A skin you already own is refused without using the voucher up, so a duplicate stays a tradeable item.

Wearing one

Type /wand for the Wand Studio, or open /rank and go to Wand Skin. Every skin is drawn with its real model, including the ones you have not unlocked, so you can see what is in the crate. No Skin is the first entry — that is how you go back to the plain wand.

The skin follows you, not the wand. It is set on your account, so every wand you hold uses it — and a skinned wand handed to somebody who has not unlocked that skin drops back to the plain model in their hands.

You need the texture pack on. Skins are models that live in the pack; with it off, the studio tells you so and every wand looks like plain vanilla. See The texture pack.

Crates & drop chances

Every percentage below is the real chance, taken straight from the server's live reward tables. You can see the same odds in game by clicking any crate to preview it.

Crates roll one reward per key, weighted as shown. The odds are independent every time — a run of bad luck doesn't make the next roll any better.

Seasonal Crate

Reserved for limited-time events. It currently holds no rewards and cannot be opened — it gets stocked when a season runs.

Reward notes

Several of the best crate prizes aren't the thing itself — they're a note for it.

A note is a redeemable item: a Legend Rank Note, a Master Kit Note, an Arcane Crate Key Note. Redeem it and you get what it says. But because a note is an ordinary item, you can also trade it or sell it to another player through the auction house or /trade.

Why this matters. It means a crate is never wasted. Rolling a rank you already own isn't a dead draw — it's a tradeable prize worth real Galleons to somebody else.

Notes you can win

Collect anything owed to you with /rewards.

Discord rewards

Three separate rewards come from our Discord rather than the store. All of them are paid into /rewards, so you claim them in your own time.

They all need one thing first: your Minecraft account linked to your Discord account. Type /discord in game for the invite, then /verify discord to get your code and enter it with /verify <code> in the server. Your code stays the same until you use it, so asking for it twice is safe — full walkthrough on the Game Info page.

RewardYou getHow often
Linking your account2 × Relic Key Once ever, the first time you link
Holding ☆ VIP2 × Relic Key Once ever, as soon as you hold the role and are linked
Boosting the Discord1 × Relic Key + 1 × Warlord Key Every boost — this one is not a one-off

Your rank shows in Discord too. Once you are linked, the rank you hold in game is put on your Discord account automatically — buy Legend and the Legend role appears beside your name without you asking. Upgrading swaps the old rank role for the new one, and everyone who has linked gets the Linked role.

Order doesn't matter. If you already hold VIP or have already boosted, linking pays out everything you're owed straight away. If you link first and get the role later, it pays the moment the role lands.

You don't need to be online. Rewards are deposited into your /rewards inbox whether you're playing or not, and they can't be lost to a full inventory — they wait there until you have space.
